Wrestlers Band from Houston

Big Game Express Menu

With all the action happening down the street at Discovery Green, we will have an Express Menu available for speedy service and efficiency available from January 27 till February 5. Come recharge with a quick bite including MKT BAR favorites such as Haig’s Chili Frito Pie, team pizzas and beers, or the Bayou City Sliders and get back to enjoying the Future Flight ride and all the games, live music and family fun right next door!

Indulge in the Teams’ Culinary Favorites

What do Atlanta football fans eat or New England fans drink while watching the game? We know! We curated inspired bites and beer on tap through the teams’ local restaurants and breweries to share here in Houston. Whether you’re rooting for the Falcons or the Patriots, get in the spirit by indulging in their locally popular food and drink options as you celebrate their journey to the championship.

Atlanta-inspired menu items include:
– Atlanta Peach Pizza – Peaches, Bacon, Onion, Basil and Goat Cheese
– SweetWater 420 Extra Pale Ale Beer
– Peach Cobbler Gelato

New England-inspired menu items include:
– The New Englander Pizza – Clams, Potatoes, Oregano, Garlicky White Sauce, Arugula and Parmesan
– Harpoon IPA Beer
– Whoopie Pie

We will also have a scoreboard keeping track of every time someone orders a team-inspired gelato flavor – a little Atlanta and New England competition to see which flavor is more popular!

Plan Before You Come

Due to local security measures, garage parking is unavailable from Friday, January 27 to Sunday, February 5. Make sure to plan before you come to be aware of road closures and find alternative methods of transportation like Uber, METRO or Greenlink.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

  • Wrestlers

Wrestlers (formerly known as Bagheera) began as the alias of 21-year-old Houston producer Aidan Kennedy, who released a house-and-chillwave-blending full-length called 100% Panther in 2012 on France’s Plik & Plok Records. The record received raves from blogs like Aerial Noise and Neonized and scored Bagheera high-profile gigs opening for the likes of M83, Ghostland Observatory, Passion Pit, and Matthew Dear. Kennedy eventually invited his old Hebrew school friend David Elkin to join him and form Wrestlers’ current incarnation as a funky electro-dance duo. Wrestlers will spend 2014, continuing to make what Cat5 Magazine calls “dance music for those who give a damn about dance music.”
