  Brother Jackson Allers

  “Brother” Jackson Allers is an Armenian-American filmmaker, DJ and the co-founder of the Houston-based grassroots internet radio station Ice House Radio. He is also a core member of the internationally renowned Beirut Groove Collective- an all-vinyl record collecting/DJ crew known for throwing socially engaged dance parties for 15-years in Beirut, Lebanon and now in London and beyond. Jackson’s DJ sets are reflective of his eclectic genre-busting music taste that has defined his radio work and DJ sets for more than 3 decades. Ice House Radio represents the fulfillment of a lifelong dream of building a radio station in Houston. He and friends will DJ an all-vinyl set every Saturday at 12-2pm at MKT BAR inside Phoenicia Foods Downtown!
